Yi Guo
Assistant Controller
Yi Guo is Assistant Controller at Aspen Standard Wealth, where he supports finance and accounting operations across the platform. He partners closely with Aspen’s partner firms to support the onboarding of new partner RIAs and to build scalable, high-performing accounting and finance functions that enable Aspen’s long-term growth. Yi brings more than a decade of experience across technical accounting, SEC reporting, and IPO readiness.
Most recently, Yi was an Experienced Manager in CrossCountry Consulting’s Accounting Advisory practice, where he advised pre-IPO companies through S-1 readiness and resolved complex technical accounting matters. Earlier, he served as Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting at ABM Industries, owning the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, and began his career at Ernst & Young in assurance.
Yi holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is an active Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Outside of work, Yi enjoys spending time with his dog Cado, traveling, cooking, playing tennis, and hip-hop dancing.
