Aly Kassim-Lakha
Chief Executive Officer
Aly founded Aspen to build a different kind of home for wealth management firms.
After years of watching great businesses get bought and sold, he became convinced the industry had lost sight of something fundamental: wealth management is a deeply personal service. Clients entrust advisors with their life savings, their families, and their futures. These businesses are meant to endure for generations, not get traded away.
Aspen was built on a simple idea: the best firms should have the opportunity to become generational institutions, with the resources, infrastructure, and long-term capital to grow, without losing their identity.
Today, Aly works closely with founders and leadership teams across Aspen’s Partner Firm network, focused on one goal: helping great firms become even better, while preserving what made them special in the first place.
Before founding Aspen, Aly was an investor at Advent International and began his career at Goldman Sachs. He holds an MBA from Stanford and a Bachelor’s from the Wharton School.
Aly spends all free time plotting to acquire his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs.
