Robert “Bob” Hostetter brings over 25 years of investment experience both as an operator and an advisor. Bob is currently the Managing Partner of Institutional Client Solutions (ICS), an independent advisor to financial advisors and family offices, proving access to unique investment and technology tools to wealth firms.
Bob began his career as a venture capital investor where he evaluated early-stage technology ideas on behalf of the Pritzker Family. At McKinsey and Company he evaluated dozens of investment targets for private equity sponsors and helped launch one of the first Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP) as part of his work in wealth technology.
More recently, as a member of the leadership teams at William Blair, Alliance Bernstein, and Russell Investments, he was chiefly responsible for over $100 Billion of innovation-driven asset growth at these firms, acquiring investment capabilities and technology tools, prioritizing and productizing the collective capacities at these firms to be optimally aligned with the highly dynamic and diverse needs of their clients.
Bob earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and graduated with distinction from the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder and currently resides in Dallas, TX.
