Kate Chmielewski

Partner and Head of Marketing

Kate Moulton Chmielewski is Partner and Head of Marketing at Aspen where she leads the marketing process from research and planning to execution and analysis. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical marketing programs that support the overall growth initiatives for Aspen and its partner RIAs.

Most recently, Kate was a Managing Director at Cresset, a $50 billion multi-family office and alternative asset manager, where she built and led the marketing program for its private investment arm. Prior to Cresset, Kate was the first Growth Marketing Director at NextCapital Group, a Chicago-based fintech serving the RIA industry. Kate was also Head of Communications at Appriss Insights, a global leader in software development, data, and risk-based analytics. Kate began her marketing career at GCM Grosvenor, an $80 billion alternative asset management firm focused on hedge fund, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure strategies.

Kate, a NY native, and her husband live outside of Chicago with their son, two daughters, and trusty golden retriever.

Kate graduated summa cum laude from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communication and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

In her free time, Kate enjoys exercising, reading, and exploring the food scene in different cities.
